Synthera under Print

Well, the most awaited magazine has eventually accomplished its final status and is under print. The copies of the magazine will be available after 23 January 2010 at the Kypes Office in E building. The magazine is FREE for the Kypes members. However it will be available for sale to others for a nominal rate of Rs 20 only. Kindly grab your own copy before it is out of stock.

All the members who have now been included as the members of the Kypes are requested to start working immediately to develop the magazine and website of the community. You must contact all the corresponding members as per your position and tasks. A group meeting shall be organised at some central location in the city on 21 October 2009. Expectations...!!!

This is to inform to all the prospective candidates for the Kypes commitee, that as soon as they are assigned their positions by 2pm @ 15 Oct, their preliminary task shall be to imbibe in themself a team spirit and cooperative attitude to work proactively for the Kypes. Our immediate agenda as mentioned early, shall be to prepare the magazine Synthera and the website. So plz start collecting articles, pic as well as any other technial skills that might help.

Final Phase of selection...!!

So all those people who had missed their chance to be a part of the Kypes as an admin member, were finally given a platform to prove themself.... Now the selection process is declared to be finished and no more interviews may be conducted.... The dice has moved onto the selection panel for appropriate judgement and to assign admin positions to the deserving candidates in order to help the Kypes move on... The results will be updated onto the blog by 7pm on 14 October 2009.
Perhapts, the immediate agenda for the all the members of the Kypes will now be to start working for magazine Synthera's first publication scheduled for November 2009 as well as the development of Website domain for Kypes...

Interviews Conducted...!!

Finally... the most awaited interviews got conducted today evening for the Kypes... The interviews were basically to identify prospective candidates for the committee work of the Kypes. The interviews were jointly conducted by the Faculty of the IT Dept. The students were asked questions from a wide range depending upon their resumes, spontaenous replies and to judge their personal skills.... The results will be shortly out by tommorow evening on the blog as well as on the notice board. Some students who could not appear are being given a last and final chance today afternoon. So rush in and plz be prepared...!!

Gr8 Response for Interview procedure...!!!

On Tuesday, Notices for the application of core committee members had been put up in all the buildings. I m glad to inform all that stock of all the forms available at the bookstall for core member application have been sold out. We are running out of stock... However this shortage is not a big deal. I m just trying to emphasize the fact about the unexpected response from the students of the college for their contribution as the prospective pillars of the Kypes community.The forms will be available in bulk from tommorow, so keep motivating your friends to apply.
Although this procedure is a formal act to develop the structure of the kypes community, all the members will be having right to voice their views as well as will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs 200 per semester. This amount will be used to support the routine activities of the Kypes community. The members will be receiving a T-Shirt, Synth-Era magazine copy and discounts in the various events being organised under the umberlla of Kypes.

Resumes Invited...!!

We at Kypes envision to utilize the potential of prospective members and provide them a platform to prove their talents contributing to the goal of the Kypes community!! Keeping this in mind we invite updated resumes from students interested to be a part of the core admin segment of the community for the selection procedure. In Phase I , the prospective candidates' resumes will be scrutinised by our faculty advisors and shortlisted. In Phase II, the shortlisted candidates shall be adjudged via a personal interview. The final list of selected candidates alongwith their appropriate positions in the community, shall be displayed on Notice Board.
The selections are for following departments within the Kypes community:

JoyFest volunteered by Kypes...!!

Hello people... Today was yet another wonderful day for the Kypes community. Especially, this day was dedicated to the 'joy of giving' week being celebrated all over the world from 27 Sept 2009 - 3 Oct 2009. JoyFest which is an attempt to bridge gap of oneness in the society, is being organised at LD College. We at Kypes thought to join hands and support this noble cause. Under our very first such event at KIRC, we invited students from a local school within the Kalol zone. Throughout the day we spent a span of about 3 hours with them by keeping them involved in interactive activities such as jokes, painting competition and quiz. They were also shown educational videos to improve their ways of living and become a better human being. At the day end it was a touching moment for all our volunteers to see rays of hope in their eyes for a better future. We hope to conduct more such events soon under the agenda of Kypes in a different way...

Today due to this gr8 festive occasion, KYP2ES members planned to have a break and enjoy. So specifically nothing much was accomplished as a task. We wish all our members as well as the guest visitors a Happy Dussehra...!!

Hello ppl.. As you know that days are passing faster than ever before... We at KYP2ES too need to keep up the momentum... So we have started wandering in our imaginations about the contents to be put up on our KYP2ES official webpage as well in our campus periodical - Synthera.
Interesting articles/reports/poems... are invited from students to be included as part of the periodical or on our website. You can send in your entries for the selection process before 20 October 2009 at kyp2es@gmail.com. All entries must have been prepared originally by the writer. He/She shall be solely responsible to bare all allegations under any copyright infringement circumstances. The decision of the selection commitee shall be final and applicable to all the entries.
So start working and Toil to make yourself remarkable by some talent....!!

Registration Process!!

Today due to festive aurum, we had to postpone our meeting. But then we utilised the time to prepare the registration form and carry out the formal registration procedure for all the 40 entries that have already registered with us earlier. Some time was also devoted to start the designing of the layout of our campus periodical - Synthera. Now looking forward to get more entries from Tuesday onwards... Happy Dussehra from Team KYP2ES...!!!

KIII conceptualised!!

During our discussions at the Management Institute, a fruitful vision of developing an Industry-Institute Interaction Cell was suggested for developing the KIRC image at the corporate level. We at KYP2ES conceptualised KIII for this purpose. KIII will conduct a programme under the umbrella of KYP2ES for developing the corporate relations of KIRC. Reknowned personalities from the industry will be invited to deliver lectures as well as adjudge the students and their activities at KIRC. There is still much more to be done... So keep following the blog... !!

Faculties Acquainted!!

Today was a gr8 day for the KYP2ES. Things turned up as we wanted....
Firstly, in Engineering we informed the HODs of all the branches about KYP2ES and arranged a brief introductory seminar for the teachers. There were 3 sessions of the seminar, each lasting for about 20 minutes. Worthy comments and suggestions were recieved from the faculty assuring us about their support. Teachers have also recommended other bright student who may contribute to the community in a better way.
Moving further, we went to Pharmacy, wherein we briefed up one of their faculty in a similar way. Later we are planning to arrange the seminar for all too...
Lastly we ended our day at the Management Insitute, wherein we had an interactive session with the Incharge about KYP2ES.

Pacing Faster!!

• Today was a gr8 day... !! Strengthening our online presence of KYP2ES, I created a googlegroup for community. Using this service the core admin members of the committee can stay in touch with each other via group email...
• Also I have created a googledocs space for the community wherein the the core admin members of the committee can share important documents with each other and update synchronously together...
• Decided the slogans for the magazine as well as the community...
• Prepared the presentation for orientation of faculty and students...
• Now ready to distribute the forms for student registration...

SynthEra coming soon...!!

Hey ppl..!! Guess what..?? Our very own first ever fully loaded campus periodical has been figured out and is under construction. SynthEra basically symbolizes the advent of a new era in the history of our own prestigious institute Kalol Institute & Research Center. We are planning to distribute it shortly.
But we need active stuff to liven it up... Matter that thrills ones gray cells and jerks the heartbeat!! Its all the student participation that actually matters... You just need to submit whatever you think is the need of the hour and submit it for review & approval at the KYP2ES office in the E Building at your earliest...
